Magical Medmerry
Medmerry is our newest nature reserve. It is the largest realignment of a beach in the UK and is between Selsey and Bracklesham. The reserve is very new and lots of planting is taking place. A new habitat has been formed for the water voles and there are already deer running in the reserve and birds taking up residence. Pagham and Medmerry are managed by the RSPB. There are miles of tracks for walking and a cycle track which means the Witterings are easily accessible by bike. From the Witterings there is a large circular route up to Chichester and back down to Selsey (Aprox 30 miles) most of it off road. You can hire bikes in Selsey from Summit Bikes. Dogs are allowed in the reserve.
