NEW - Winter opening
For the first time in the Coast Yards history, we will be open from 7th January and to the 13th February. Only our garden rooms will be available. We will operate a self check in system, you collect your key from a secure key box in the entrance porch then access the rooms via the garden gate. Breakfast will be served in the dining room as usual. A staff member will call round to check everything is in order.

Our check-in time is from 3:30pm (15:30).

If you arrive before 3:30pm (15:30) you are welcome to leave your car in our car park and explore Selsey. Selsey High Street with it’s eclectic array pfshops, cafes, and restaurants is just a short walk away.

Please let us know an approximate time of arrival if you are intending to arrive after 7 pm (19:00) .

Late arrivals up to 10pm (22:00).

Special arrival and check-in arrangements can be made for disabled guests, please telephone the hotel to discuss your requirements.

General Policy

PRIVACY POLICY
Any data given to us in order to make a reservation is held in accordance with our privacy policy, which can be found in full on our website.

PETS POLICY
Please note: We do accept well-behaved dogs in our garden rooms only, maximum two dogs per room.
*Your dog must not be left unattended in the room.
*We do have a dog sitter/walker but he must be booked in advance.
*. Please don’t use the white towels in your room to dry your dog, please ask one of us and we’ll provide a towel you can dry your dog with.
*Your dog must be kept on the lead on the premises and exercised off the premises, because we do have children playing in the garden so it must be kept clear of dog mess.
*There is a dog friendly park a few minutes walk away, if you walk out of our driveway, turn left head towards the bus stop and cross over there is a pathway to the park.
*We charge £20 per-dog, per stay, payable on arrival. If you book directly with us on our site, your dog can stay for £15.
Thank you for respecting our rules, this keeps every one happy.

TOWELS

Please don’t take the room towels to the beach, if you ask us we do have some towels you can borrow.

STAG & HEN PARTIES
Please note we do not accept Hen or Stag parties.

GOODWOOD EVENTS
If you are booking for a Goodwood Event we always take a non-refundable deposit equivalent to one night’s accommodation charge.If the booking is cancelled within 28-days of the arrival date and we are unable to re-book the room the whole booking amount will be payable.For large bookings for Goodwood events, please contact us directly for the cancellation policy.

DAMAGE POLICY
When making a reservation the cardholder agrees that their card also guarantees to pay for any costs incurred due to damage, loss, theft or for contravening the No-Smoking policy, this includes accidental damage. A minimum of £50 will be charged to your card.

ALCOHOL POLICY
The Coast Yard is a Licensed premises with a well stocked and reasonably priced bar. We respectfully advise guests that only Alcohol purchased at the hotel may be consumed on the premises or in the garden. This is the same policy that would apply to any Licensed premises whether it be a hotel or public house.

Cancellation Policy for Direct Bookings (except Goodwood Events)

If you have made a direct booking with us either online or by telephone, unless it is for a same-day booking, a deposit equivalent to the first night’s stay will be charged to your card with the remaining balance payable 48 hours before your check. The balance will be automatically collected by Stripe. Cancellation or amendments made up to midnight 48 hours before arrival are free.If you cancel or amend within the 48-hours before arrival, the first night will be payable. The total value of the booking will be charged if cancellations or amendments are made with less than 24-hours notice. We advise that you have holiday insurance in place for your stay. Goodwood Events - these Terms do not apply to Goodwood events, please see our separate Goodwood Events Cancellation Policy).
No shows will be charged the full booking price.

Booking.com Reservations

On making a reservation, you will be charged for the value of the first night's stay, which is non-refundable. The balance of the booking is due either 48 hours prior to your stay if on our automated payment system or on arrival if not.. If you make a cancellation after booking, the first night will be charged as cancellation fee.

Any cancellations or amendments to a Booking.com reservation must be made via Booking.com.

Group Bookings.

If booking as a group our cancellation policy is to inform us 28 days prior to the check in date. Cancellations within these dates will be charged the first night as a cancellation fee. We strongly advise travel insurance.
