A favourite seaside holiday destination for more than 100-years, Selsey has a unique charm that visitors notice almost immediately they arrive. The laid-back atmosphere, the beaches and fresh sea air, the friendly locals, and the better-than-UK-average-sunshine-record all contribute to Selsey’s unique appeal.

Nestled on the West Sussex Coast, the hotel is conveniently positioned for Selsey's beaches and it’s high street with its café culture, and good choice of shops and restaurants. We’re also ideally positioned for accessing the Roman City of Chichester, and for exploring the local countryside of the Manhood Peninsular.

The hotel is just 25-minutes drive to the Goodwood Estate, and 20-minutes drive to the Roman City of Chichester. We’re also 15/20 minutes from Chichester Harbour, Havant, Bosham, and Bognor Regis, and 40-minutes away from Petworth, Arundel, Midhurst, and Portsmouth. Brighton is just over an hour away, as is Southampton. Gatwick Airport is a 60-minute drive or just 40-minutes by train, direct to Chichester.

Selsey is served by an excellent bus service connecting it with Chichester and the surrounding area, buses run every 15-minutes and the journey time direct to Chichester Cathedral and the main shopping area is around 25-minutes.

Stayed at the Coast Yard for 2 nights recently could not fault it in anyway, we were welcomed at the door helped with our bags to our room which was spotless ,comfortable bed amazing breakfast, we would definitely stay again.
